Whether you are new to archery or already have some experience under your belt, join fellow Girl Scouts at Mueller State Park’s archery range! This range does not have a sun shelter, so make sure to bring a hat and sunscreen! Choose either the morning or afternoon session and bring a picnic lunch for your Girl Scouts to enjoy and be sure to save some time to explore the park! State Park entrance cost not included. For more information about the park: Colorado Parks & Wildlife - Mueller
Mueller State Park is located on Colorado Highway 67, 3.5 miles south of the intersection of U.S. Highway 24 in Divide.
State Park staff will cover all steps of the Cadette Archery Badge (but all Girl Scouts are welcome to attend this event):
- Get to know archery equipment
- Learn about archery safety
- Practice archery before you go out on the range
- Shoot on an archery range
- Create an archery challenge
Two sessions: 9 – 11 a.m. or 1 – 3 p.m.
Girl Scouts of Colorado State Park Patch
By visiting the park for this event, your Girl Scout will have earned the main patch for this program!
If she’s already earned the main patch, she can check off one more park and set a goal to get to five, 10 or 15! 😊
