Kiewit Corporation and Girl Scouts of Colorado partnered to provide young girls with the opportunity to discover new passions and ambitions in engineering and construction, building confidence to potentially pursue careers in these historically male-dominated industries.

Through this partnership, we hosted Build Like a Girl, an event that introduces Girl Scouts to careers in construction and engineering. During this event, participants engaged in hands-on activities led by Kiewit staff, exploring working with wood, concrete, and heavy machinery. They used their impressive mental strength and critical thinking skills to truly Build Like a Girl!

U.S. Bank and Girl Scouts of Colorado create the first Spanish and English patch program to teach financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills.

Habits around spending are shaped early in life, and the journey to earning money can begin just as soon! This delightful patch program, made possible by the generous funding and support of U.S. Bank staff, will inspire Girl Scouts to transform their talents into income. Our budding entrepreneurs will embark on a fun and educational adventure to set goals and create their very own money-making activities or events. With the guidance of the Money Makers Patch Program, watch as their confidence grows and they discover the exciting world of entrepreneurship!
