In addition to a fun, physical activity, we also hope to give people a new awareness of the beauty of these magnificent beings all around us, and through this new found appreciation, a stronger desire to respect, protect and conserve them in their own community, across the country and around the world.

Blacksmithing is the skill of forging metal, using tools like a hammer and an anvil to make objects, like hinges, nails, hammers, and more. It was a common practice before the industrial revolution, when most towns had their own town blacksmith shop.
Do you have a Girl Scout that has wanted to learn the ancient art of Blacksmithing, but has no idea what to expect? Visit the space where you can learn metal art practices, meet Ashe (the founder and teacher), and watch them demonstrate how it is done! During this two hour event, two blacksmiths will be forging and taking questions. There will also be a Plasma CNC demonstration.
Hardy & Fuller will provide refreshments and guests are encouraged to hang out in the space, watch the blacksmith demonstration, and ask as many questions as you can think of! At Hardy & Fuller, we take pride in keeping and fostering a safe space for our community. Community is very important to us, and to be successful as an artist, or heck, as a person, we must facilitate space where community can happen! Hardy & Fuller is a safe space for all persons, especially women, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and differently abled persons. Our shop is wheelchair accessible, and we are always looking to improve our access for those that are differently abled! Suggestions are welcome!
Capacity: 25 persons
Length: two hours
Cost: $15/person
Hardy & Fuller Taster Events
During this three hour event, participants will be able to experience working with fire in a hands-on fashion. After choosing from our Taster Menu, each person will receive the same pre forged object that they will then get to finish to their own personal style and specifications. This will involve heating the piece in the forge, using tools to twist, texture and bend the material until the correct shape is achieved. The best part is watching identical pre forged steel turn into 12 very unique pieces of art! This is a great entry point for beginners to learn how steel moves and works when it is heated to forging temperatures.
Number of participants: 12
Length of activity: 3 hours
Age of participants: 12 and up, ages 9-11 can do this with parents, but there will need to be one parent/gaurdian participating per child in this age range.

Girl Scout Troop 67357 earned their Silver Award by partnering with the Plains Conservation Center to create and manage a garden of native plants to help the ecosystem. They also created a seed library which they filled with packets of seeds harvested from plants in their garden. Girls attending programs at the Center are welcome to visit the Seed Library and take home packets of native seeds to plant in their own gardens. During your program, you can also ask about helping to harvest seeds from the native plant gardens and place them into envelopes for the library. By planting seeds at home, you are supporting pollinators and creating habitats for wildlife. Every seed you take or contribute helps keep our ecosystem growing strong.

Every year around prom season, Prom Dress Exchange hosts an event where girls throughout Denver can shop an inventory of gently used and new formal dresses.
Girl Scouts can engage with Prom Dress Exchange in the following ways:
Prom Dress Drives: This is an opportunity for Girl Scouts and/or troops to host a dress drive during the year and learn about event promotion, planning, hosting, sorting, and wrapping up a successful event.
Prom Dress Inventory: We purge, sort, tag, and inventory prom dresses a few times yearly on a "need-based" schedule. We don't have a brick-and-mortar facility and operate out of a storage pod.
Fashion Show: We would be open to donating dresses if any Girl Scouts and/or troops would be interested in hosting a fashion show focused on sustainability, gently used garments, repurposed dresses, redesigned dresses, etc.
Upcycle: We would be happy to donate our purge dresses, which might otherwise end up in the landfill, for girls to cut up, experiment with, redesign, and/or make into other products.
Promotion: We would love to let the girls loose to spread the word about what we do by promoting our one-day pop-up shop to Colorado High Schools. This would expose the girls to grassroots efforts, cold calling, marketing, and event promotion.

The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course is for Girl Scouts who are between 11-16 years old. This training course is highly regarded with parents of young children and known as a strong national training program. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care safely and responsibly for children and infants. The learning modules for the course include: resume and basic business insight, leadership skills (encouraging positive behavior and rewards), childcare skills of diapering, feeding children, and bottle-feeding infants. During the class, participants will also learn and practice first aid skills, CPR and choking remediation in infants and children.
During the course, each Girl Scout will receive an infant manikin to interact with for the 6 hours. The manikin simulates a 3-4 month-old infant with a floppy neck and the size of a nine-month-old which is a good experience to understand the delicate needs of an infant.
The class is taught for six hours at our training center in the Denver Tech Center. Each Girl Scout will receive two home resource manuals and they will receive an American Red Cross Babysitter's certification and an American Heart Association CPR and first aid certification. These items are included in the cost of the class.
This skills training will allow Girl Scouts to earn a Babysitters and/or CPR and first aid badge. The badge is not included in the price.
This group class can be taught with a total of 12 participants. There is a minimum of six participants to hold the class.
This class can be taught at our Training Center, a community center or at a leader’s home. We require enough space for manikins to be placed on the floor with space to practice the skills.
We can schedule a class during the day, evening or on a Saturday. Individual participants can register for a regularly scheduled Babysitter’s class at our Training Center. You can register for a class on our website www.rockymountaincpr.com, click on the Find a Course tab, scroll down to Babysitter’s course and then click on the tab to see upcoming class dates.
Please reach out with additional questions to Renee or Dan Snyder by calling 303-768-8088 or by email at cpr@rockymountaincpr.com. We are located in the Denver Tech Center at I-25 and Arapahoe Rd. Our physical address is: 7000 South Yosemite St, Ste 250 Centennial, CO 80112
Cost: $120/Girl Scout.

We climb trees! We do it because we love being in forests and among trees: not just among them, but up in them. We love the adventure, the experience of something new every climb, the physical challenge, the joy, the opening up of the world.
In addition to a fun, physical activity, we also hope to give people a new awareness of the beauty of these magnificent beings all around us, and through this new found appreciation, a stronger desire to respect, protect and conserve them in their own community, across the country and around the world.
