Girl Scouts of Colorado and IF/THEN present a fun community day for kids to learn more about different STEM fields through hands-on activities with local partners:
Family Fun Day is an open house-style event from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at the National Museum of WWII Aviation (775 Aviation Way, Colorado Springs). Although hosted by Girl Scouts of Colorado, this event is open to everyone. All genders and families are welcome.
"Our STEM initiatives are designed to spark curiosity and show young people in our community how exciting and accessible a future in science, technology, engineering, and math can be," said Leanna Clark, CEO of Girl Scouts of Colorado. "By offering engaging, hands-on experiences like these, we hope to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers right here in Colorado."
