Girl Scouts’ first cookie for dogs and first allergen-friendly cookie will be available exclusively online during the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season.
Today, Girl Scouts of Colorado unveiled two additions to the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie lineup. Patch Pals, developed with BARK, and Girl Scout Sparkables, developed with Partake, will debut this winter. Patch Pals is the first cookie created just for dogs, and Girl Scout Sparkables is an allergy-friendly cookie, produced in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens. The online-only offerings will join beloved classics like Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs.
Developed for Girl Scouts around the country who have advocated for expanding the cookie lineup to meet the diverse needs of their communities, Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables offer new ways for more girls, families and beloved pets to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program.
For four-legged family members, Patch Pals offers a playful way to take part in the fun. Inspired by Girl Scouts’ deep love for their dogs, the soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies celebrate the bond between people and their pups.
Girl Scout Sparkables bring a new level of inclusivity to the Girl Scout Cookie portfolio as its first-ever cookie developed for families navigating certain food allergies. Developed in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens, the crunchy oatmeal cookie features chocolate chips and is dotted with colorful sprinkles.
“The Girl Scout Cookie Program presents remarkable opportunity. Through entrepreneurship, teamwork, and goal-setting, girls learn how to take initiative, adapt, communicate, and turn challenges into opportunities,” said Amanda Kelly, CEO of Girl Scouts of Colorado. “With Girl Scout Sparkables and Patch Pals, we're creating more ways for families, friends, and beloved pets to be part of this iconic tradition while making the Cookie Program more inclusive.”
Each year, girls discover their power as they utilize their innate sense of curiosity to unlock wonderful adventures and experiences through the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Along the way, they develop essential life skills while gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and what they care about.
The 2027 Colorado Girl Scout Cookie season will begin online on Jan. 5, 2027, and door-to-door sales and in-person booths run Jan. 31 – March 14. All proceeds stay local to support Colorado Girl Scouts. Visit girlscoutsofcolorado.org/cookies Or text “Cookies” to 59618 to get the latest Girl Scout Cookie news.
We Are Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
