Girl Scouts of Colorado hosts Family Fun Day: Explore Your Future
Presented by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, the state’s champion for advancing women in business
Girl Scouts of Colorado and Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) present a fun community day for kids of all ages to explore different careers through hands-on activities with a wide variety of local partners:
- HealthONE will showcase their hospital service dogs and their role in supporting patients’ mental wellness.
- A CBS Colorado reporter will bring a professional news camera and help kids give mini-news reports.
- CSU Walter Scott Jr. College of Engineering will give kids a chance to build their own roller coasters to demonstrate engineers’ design and construction process.
- Denver Water will let kids get hands-on in learning about water with a tasty snow cone activity.
- And more!
Although hosted by Girl Scouts of Colorado, this event is open to everyone in the community. All genders and families are welcome.
Family Fun Day is an open house-style event from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, August 10, at Girl Scout DreamLab (63 N. Quebec St., Ste 104, Denver). All are welcome to the monthly Family Fun Days; you do not need to be a Girl Scout or even a girl to discover, connect, and learn at Girl Scout DreamLab. All activities will be available for the entire event.
