Institutional Giving

We count on corporate and foundation partnerships to provide volunteer and funding opportunities. Many companies choose to make philanthropy a part of their corporate culture by making it easy for their employees to support charities such as Girl Scouts of Colorado.

As the premiere female leadership development organization in Colorado, with over 15,000 girl members, partners of Girl Scouts of Colorado have the unique opportunity to:

Build unique co-branded Girl Scout patches and curriculum for girls to learn new skills – learn more about these partnerships here (with the hyperlink)
Present events just for girls to have a hands-on experience in learning more about career exploration
Showcase different career paths for women and how girls today can become the leaders of tomorrow
Tie your organization’s mission and values into the four pillars of Girl Scouts, STEM, life skills/financial literacy, outdoors and entrepreneurship

Girl Scouts of Colorado’s signature event is Women of Distinction, which honors women who have displayed exemplary leadership and a commitment to advancing the profile of women and girls in communities across Colorado. Women of Distinction events are held annually in Denver, Grand Junction and Colorado Springs (I’ll hopefully have some clarity on this by the end of July deadline Helen gave us).

Event partners of Girl Scouts of Colorado have the opportunity to:

Market their organization to hundreds of well-networked leaders across the state
Participate in social media and website posts with more than 17,000 followers.
Be part of honoring exceptional female leaders while encouraging Girl Scouts to be our future world-changers
Interact with Girl Scouts showing off their skills in public speaking, allyship and the four program pillars for Girls Scouts, STEM, life skills/financial literacy, outdoors and entrepreneurship

Girl Scouts of Colorado participated in the Colorado Combined Campaign. In addition, many companies enable employees to make regular donations through payroll deduction.
