What does it mean to be an active citizen? Join University of Denver US Campaign and Elections Communication students for an exciting Democracy for Juniors Badge Workshop where Girl Scouts will explore the building blocks of democracy, learn how leaders make decisions, and discover ways to create positive change in your community. This workshop is a Capstone Course for the Communications Studies Major.
Through interactive games, teamwork, and real-world examples, Girl Scout Juniors will complete badge activities while developing confidence in their ability to lead, participate, and make their voices heard. Together, we'll learn how every citizen can help make democracy stronger.
Perfect for Girl Scout Juniors who are curious about government, leadership, and making a difference in the world around them.
