Please join us for a day of training and community! The GSCO Volunteer Academy offers fun and informative required trainings and enrichment courses that will support and enhance your volunteer experience! In these classes, you will learn skills and tips on how to best work with the girls in your troop and create unforgettable Girl Scout experiences! This is also a great opportunity to make valuable connections within your GSCO community! Feel free to join for 1 course, 2 courses or a full day of courses!
Courses include:
- American Red Cross CPR/AED/FA - Earn your 2 year American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certificate! Online pre-work required prior to classroom portion. This session is a skill check.
- Daisy/Brownie Program Level - Your ticket to a super successful Daisy or Brownie troop! Learn how to structure a meeting and find the right resources to jump-start your Girl Scout year in this hands-on training required for new and bridging leaders.
- Multilevel Troop Management - Learn how to successfully manage a troop that serves two or more program levels with confidence!
- Team Building for Troops - Join us for an engaging and interactive team bonding training. This training will give you skills to help bring your troop together and build stronger friendship, improve communication, and essential teamwork skills.

Youth Mental Health First Aid - Youth Mental Health First Aid is an early intervention public education program. It teaches adults how to recognize the signs and symptoms that suggest a potential mental health challenge, how to listen without judgement and give reassurance to a youth who may be experiencing a mental health challenge, and how to refer a person to appropriate professional support and services.
Feel free to bring snacks and/or lunch and a refillable water bottle.
- Event capacity is very limited. Registration will close when capacity is met.

If you cannot attend a Girl Scouts of Colorado event, please cancel to allow another Girl Scout to take your spot! Full refunds will be given up to two weeks before the registration deadline, partial refunds (minus a $5 processing fee) will be given within two weeks of the deadline, and no refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
