Whether you're just beginning to brainstorm project ideas or already working on your proposal, this workshop will equip you with the tools, inspiration, and support you need to turn your vision into a reality. Plus, the time you spend in this workshop will count toward your Gold Award project hours requirement!

*NOTE: Girls Scouts must have completed the required Gold Award Training and create their Go Gold profile before attending this workshop. If you have not already taken training, please submit the Gold Award Training Request Form https://gscolorado.formstack.com/forms/gold_award_interest to get started and complete the training before attending.

During the workshop, you will:

  • Brainstorm project ideas with GSCO staff, Gold Award mentors, and other experts.
  • Start developing your project plan and make sure that your project will meet all the Gold Award requirements.
  • Work on your initial Proposal in Go Gold with experts who can answer questions along the way.
  • Create a community of support by connecting with other Girl Scouts who are working toward earning the Gold Award and connecting with Gold Award experts.

Once you've completed the workshop, you'll be prepared to submit your initial proposal through Go Gold to officially get started on your Gold Award journey.

  • Event capacity is very limited. Registration will close when capacity is met.
