Join Service Unit 631 for a 3-part outdoor adventure series designed to build skills, confidence, and teamwork-ending with a magical overnight experience!

Girls will learn real camp skills like fire building, knot tying, navigation, and outdoor cooking-then put it all into action at camp.

Program Dates:

June 13 (6-8 p.m.) - Foundations of Camp Skills I Ralston Valley Splash Pad
June 27 (6-8 p.m.) - Skill Building + Gear Creation I Ralston Valley Splash Pad
July 11-12 - Overnight Camp Experience I Stanley Lake Camp Ground

Cost:
$80 per Girl Scout, this covers all program supplies, activities, and food for the overnight.

 

Participation Details:
Daisies (K-1st Grade) are welcome to attend June 13 and June 27 sessions. They may also join daytime activities on July 11 Pick-up by 8 p.m. on Saturday (July 11) at the latest. Overnight is not available for this level All other levels are eligible for the full experience, including overnight, July 11-12.

 

What Girls Will Learn:
Fire safety and building (using their own handmade fire starters!) Knot tying and creating a water bottle holder Map and compass navigation Shelter building and site setup Outdoor cooking over a fire Basic first aid.

Leadership Opportunities:
Help lead activities Support younger Girl Scouts Take on roles like navigator, fire helper, or setup leader

Important Information:
Please ensure your Girl Scout comes prepared for outdoor activities at each session. A full packing list will be provided prior to the overnight.
