You're invited to a fun-filled, open-house style Family Fun Day celebrating diversity, inclusion, self-expression, and community! Girl Scouts in grades K-12 along with their families and friends are invited to explore interactive activity stations, learn something new, and earn the Girl Scout Native American Heritage Month Celebration Fun Patch.
The United States has 574 federally recognized Indian Nations (variously called tribes, nations, bands, pueblos, communities, and native villages). You can celebrate Native American Heritage Month by recognizing with your family and friends the histories, cultures, and contributions of the Native American communities that were the first inhabitants in the United States. Take this opportunity to learn more about the cultures of the Indian Nations in your state and across the country. This patch is a part of the Girl Scout Multicultural Community Celebration patches. It was designed to celebrate the countless contributions that diverse communities have made.
This event is designed as an open-house experience, allowing families to move through stations at their own pace. Each participant will receive a station passport upon arrival. Once participant has completed their passport, they will have earned their patch!
