Girl Scouts of Colorado and the Colorado Canyons Association are
hosting a day of fun on the water! Juniors and up will float from
Pleasure Park Boat Ramp to Orchard Boat Ramp and have a ton of fun
along the way! Girl Scouts bridging to Juniors are eligible to
attend.
When you embark on a float on the Gunnison River,
you will experience breath-taking views of red-rock canyons and
sandstone bluffs. Sit back, relax, and keep your eyes peeled for
wildlife. This Class II section of river is home to many species of
animals including bighorn sheep, mule deer, golden eagles, collared
lizards, and more. Be prepared for sunny skies and warm weather with
the occasional splash from a wave!
Girls will earn and be
mailed a River Trip patch!
Routes are tentative based on flow, we will keep everyone as informed as possible as time gets closer.
- This event allows for current 3rd grade Brownies bridging to Juniors to attend, please reach out to inquiry@gscolorado.org for registration support.
- Financial Aid is available for members only. Membership will be verified before approval for gsEvents Financial Aid requests.
- Event capacity is very limited. Registration will close when capacity is met.
- This is a drop-off event. We will provide enough supervision to cover safety ratios. Registrants are required to complete an Authorized Pick Up form.

If you cannot attend a Girl Scouts of Colorado event, please cancel to allow another Girl Scout to take your spot! Full refunds will be given up to two weeks before the registration deadline, partial refunds (minus a $5 processing fee) will be given within two weeks of the deadline, and no refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
