During this guided Bugs badge program, Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors will learn about insect anatomy, make a bug themed craft, and take a short bug searching walk. Please note that the Bugs badge is a Brownie badge, but we welcome all Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors to come engage in this fun program with us!
Brownies will meet requirements for the Bugs badge, which will be available for purchase at Girl Scout DreamLab after the event. A Bluff Lake Nature Center patch is included in the cost of registration.
Bluff Lake Nature Center (BLNC) is a nonprofit agency that owns and manages a unique urban wildlife refuge and outdoor classroom in Denver. Bluff Lake is Denver's largest open space managed as native habitat, and Denver's only nonprofit nature center. BLNC educates individuals to be engaged, resilient, and curious; conserves a natural area in the city; furthers equity in outdoor access; and nurtures the health and well-being of communities and ecosystems.

- This is not a drop-off event. All girls must be accompanied by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult safety ratios must be followed. Please refer to Volunteer Essentials.

If you cannot attend a Girl Scouts of Colorado event, please cancel allowing another Girl Scout to take your spot! Full refunds will be given up to two weeks before the registration deadline, partial refunds (minus a $5 processing fee) will be given within two weeks of the deadline, and no refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
