The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course is to provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care to children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care. The Babysitter's Training course is designed to be taught in approximately 5 hours. Please pack a sack snack or lunch, and bring your water bottle, and supplies to take notes. Each participant must have a unique email address. Each participant will receive a digital e-book participant manual with the option of purchasing a physical manual. Successful completion of this course will result in a certificate in Red Cross Babysitting Training (valid for 10 years).
Consider adding the 2:45pm CPR/AED/First Aid Course to this class!
