Get set Girl Scout Juniors to learn about gardens, flowers and being a Citizen Scientist this May! There are lots of types of gardens for Juniors to learn about and visit. Then they can design their dream garden…and in that garden, there will most likely be flowers! In the Flowers badge, Girl Scout Juniors will look inside a flower, explore the parts and more! The Citizen Scientist Journey will have Girl Scout Juniors making scientific observations, collect data and take action.
Join us on Thursday, May 5, 2022, for our virtual kick-off meetings where we will introduce Girl Scout Juniors to the Gardener and Flowers Badges as well as the Citizen Scientist Journey. After the kick-off meeting, Girl Scouts will then be granted access to Google Classroom where they will complete their badge activities. The kick-off meeting will last 30 minutes. The reflection meeting will be on May 26, 2022.
In this virtual event, the badge that can earned will be:
• Gardener Badge
• Flowers Badge
• Citizen Scientist Journey
There are no refunds for this event.
This event requires a current membership.
