Introducing a new OAC program! This series is designed to give you the opportunity to deeply develop technical rock climbing skills over four full days of guided climbing trips. The first two trips will be day only in the Colorado Springs area, and the third trip will be an overnight experience at Shelf Road in Canon City! Throughout this series you will start with the basics of tying in and belaying on top rope and by the end you will learn more advanced climbing skills including climbing techniques, anchor building, how to lead a sport route, and how to lead belay. Everyone will earn their climbing badge in full, and the badge will be provided on the last day of the overnight trip. By signing up, you are committing to all three dates. During registration, sign up for either the beginner group (no climbing experience), or the intermediate group (can tie a figure 8 follow through knot and belay on top rope). Grants are available for this program and cookie credits are accepted. $300/girl.
