Girl Scout Juniors explore the basics of garden design as they learn how to plan for a successful garden. Girl Scouts design, plant and decorate a miniature indoor garden to take home with them. This program is designed to meet the needs of the Gardener Junior Girl Scout Badge requirements. Girl Scout Exploration Days offer troops the opportunity to explore plant-based themes through a variety of hands-on activities and take-home projects. Each Exploration Day offers several activity stations set up throughout the Gardens for groups to explore.
Program Fee: $12 per Girl Scout; one adult for every three Girl Scouts is admitted free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings ages 3 and up are $7. Non-participating siblings do not participate in the take-home activities. Denver Botanic Gardens does not supply activity badges.
