5th grade Juniors, are you excited to bridge to Cadettes? Maybe feeling a little nervous about this new stage in life. Here at Girl Scouts of Colorado we hear you and want to support you! We are excited to announce the first ever, Climb Up to Cadettes event, for 5th Grade Juniors on June 12 at the EDGE in Phillip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock. In this full day event, Girl Scouts will discover more about themselves and their boundaries on the Epic Sky Trek ropes course, connect with older Girl Scouts to learn more and ask questions about being a Girl Scout in middle school, and then take action by learning how to be an upstander in bullying situations.
Caregivers and troop leaders, don’t worry, we didn’t forget about you! We will have an adult only morning session where you will learn how to support your Girl Scout as they plan their “go, see, do” year. After you register, you will have access to a document with more details about the event, how to prepare, and a link to the waiver for the climbing course.
If you are having trouble completing registration, please contact inquiry@gscolorado.org or 877-404-5708.
GSCO Event and Training refunds are given on a per registrant basis. Cancellations prior to the event deadline will receive a refund (minus a $5 processing fee). Written notice is required (email is acceptable). If an event registration fee is $5.00 or less, no refund will be given. Refund requests will be processed within 5-7 business days. No refunds will be given after the registration deadline. Ticketed events cannot be refunded after the deadline. If Girl Scouts of Colorado cancels a program, a full refund will be issued. Contact registrars@gscolorado.org for cancellations or refund requests.
