Girl Scouts of Colorado has partnered with RK Industries, a leader in commercial construction, manufacturing and building services, to share the incredible possibilities of a future in the trades with Girl Scouts. This event will take place at RK Industries in northern Denver.
During this afternoon event, Girl Scouts will participate in hands-on activities and meet professional women in structural fabrication, iron working, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pipe fitting, and sheet metal. This event will showcase how Girl Scouts can use their amazing mental strength and critical thinking to Build Like a Girl!
This is not a drop-off event. All girls must be accompanied by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult safety ratios must be followed. Please refer to Volunteer Essentials.
This is a troop event. All girls must attend with their troop or if they are a Juliette, we may do our best to pair you and your caregiver with another attending troop.
This is a family event. Any family members of a current Girl Scout member may attend.
Walk-Up registrations will be accepted at this event. Priority will go to those who have pre-registered. First come first serve.
