Celebrate 100 years of World Thinking Day! This years' theme is "Our Friendship." It is a chance for you to reflect and celebrate your friendships and the amazing global community you are part of as Girl Scouts. Get ready to have fun, build friendships and celebrate this special day with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world!

The objectives of this workshop are:

  • Friendships across Time and Traditions: Feel empowered to be yourself and create meaningful friendships
  • Growing Together: Understanding ourselves better, understand the importance of healthy friendships, and feel empowered to create connections.
  • 100 Years of World Thinking Day! Reflect on the history of World Thinking Day and celebrate 100 years!

The objectives of this workshop are:

  • Paper Dolls Like Me: Learn about different Girl Guide and Girl Scout uniforms and reflect on the uniform history.
  • Language of Friendship: Learn how to say 'Hello Friend' in different languages.
  • Jump In, Jump Out: Learn and discover the similarities within their group and develop stronger friendships.
  • Friendship Rainbow: Create a visual rainbow together, celebrate the uniqueness of each person, and show how everyone brings something special to friendship.
  • Postcard to Tomorrow: Reflect on the 100-year anniversary of World Thinking Day by writing postcards to Girl Guides and Girl Scouts of the future.

     

After completing different activities, you will collect beads to create a friendship bracelet! This bracelet represents the movement we are part of together, the friendships you have and the importance of working together to create a brighter future!

  • This is not a drop-off event. All girls must be accompanied by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult safety ratios must be followed. Please refer to Volunteer Essentials.
  • Financial Aid is available for members only. Membership will be verified before approval for gsEvents Financial Aid requests.
  • Event capacity is very limited. Registration will close when capacity is met.

If you cannot attend a Girl Scouts of Colorado event, please cancel allowing another Girl Scout to take your spot! Full refunds will be given up to two weeks before the registration deadline, partial refunds (minus a $5 processing fee) will be given within two weeks of the deadline, and no refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
