Zombie walk your way through this emergency preparedness survival challenge!
In Colorado, natural disasters like floods, fires, or storms are common in girls' lives. Often, preparing for these events is approached with fear, which can be intimidating and frightening for youth. Girl Scouts of Colorado aims to make this topic fun for girls, removing fear and replacing it with empowerment.
Girls will speak with members of local emergency preparedness teams as they navigate their Zombie through survival stations to gain knowledge of how to survive a natural disaster, as well as skills about water, first aid, pet preparedness, shelter, and much more.
