Experience a joyful and empowering Disability Pride Month Event that celebrates the beauty of diversity and the strength of inclusion! Through hands-on, interactive activities, participants will explore disability awareness, self-expression, and accessibility in a fun and supportive environment.

Activity 1: Rainbow Art Station - Let your creativity shine! Decorate rainbow flags with affirmations, colors, and symbols that represent pride, identity, and inclusivity.

Activity 2: Language of Access - ASL Learning Stations. Discover the beauty of American Sign Language through interactive stations where you'll learn basic signs and explore how ASL promotes access and connection.

Activity 3: Calming Wands - Create your own calming wand using soft textures and gentle movement to support emotional regulation and mindfulness.

Activity 4: Experience Physical Impairment - Gain empathy and understanding by completing a simple task while wearing gloves or thick socks-an exercise in accessibility and physical challenges.

Activity 5: Communication and Sensory Awareness - Try to complete a task while listening to white noise to simulate communication or sensory differences, helping us better understand and respect diverse ways of interacting with the world.

Come celebrate Disability Pride with us through creativity, empathy, and inclusion! This event is open to all and designed to educate, inspire, and honor the diverse experiences of people with disabilities.

This is an open-house style event. Girl Scout members can claim a free ticket by using promo code: DisPride25 at checkout.
