High School Girl Scouts get an exclusive look inside BOA's
cutting-edge facility, where science, engineering, and innovation come
together!
BOA Technology specializes in performance-fit
solutions for footwear, helmets, and other equipment used in sports,
workwear, and medical applications. Through cutting-edge design and
engineering, BOA enhances performance via greater stability &
control, power transfer, and energy efficiency. This event provides a
behind-the-scenes look at how BOA's team applies science, technology,
and engineering to develop products that improve fit and performance
across various industries.
BOA engineers, researchers,
and scientists will guide Girl Scouts through an interactive
experience in the Performance Fit Lab, where they will explore
biomechanics, motion capture, and data visualization through hands-on
STEM activities. Girl Scouts will also engage in a career roundtable,
gaining insights into different career paths and the skills needed to
succeed in engineering and innovation.
The event includes:
- Facility Tour: Discover how BOA creates performance-driven solutions and get a firsthand look at their work environment.
- Fit Lab Activity: Participate in motion capture and data visualization exercises to see how movement and force impact product performance.
- Career Roundtable & Speed Shadowing: Connect with BOA professionals to hear their career journeys, ask questions, and gain inspiration for future opportunities.
This experience provides Girl Scouts with a hands-on look at
engineering, research, and design in action while exploring potential
STEM careers.

- This is a drop-off event. We will provide enough supervision to cover safety ratios. Registrants are required to complete an Authorized Pick Up form.
