Girl Scouts and the community are invited to participate in the NEW Rose Community Foundation (RCF) Giving in a Box patch program, taking meaningful steps toward earning their Rose Community Foundation patch. Through engaging, hands-on activities, participants will explore core values with interactive worksheets, identify areas for community improvement, and connect with RCF professionals to understand the logistics of raising awareness, securing funding, and engaging with foundations. This event is an empowering opportunity for young leaders to gain the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in their communities.
This event is open to everyone in the community. Activities are open-house style and will be running for the full 4:30-6:00 p.m. time frame. You do NOT need to arrive at 4:30 p.m. to complete this program. Generally, the activities take 45 minutes - 1 hour to complete.
The Giving in a Box patch program powered by the Rose Community Foundation curriculum can be found on GSCO's Anytime Activity page. Girls will be completing the meeting 1 out of 3 requirement of the program. This patch program is intended for Juniors - Ambassadors and can be used as a tool to prompt Highest Awards. This community event is open to kids of all ages, but geared towards those in 4th - 12th grade. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Erin Cook at erin.cook@gscolorado.org.
To register your non-Girl Scout please choose "Family Guest". You will need to create a FREE myGS account to register your non-member for this event OR a Girl Scout member can register a non-member through their myGS account. Adults do NOT need to register for this event. Girl Scouts and non-member youth are welcome to attend with their troop or their caregiver, this is not a drop-off program.

- This is not a drop-off event. All girls must be accompanied by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult safety ratios must be followed. Please refer to Volunteer Essentials.
- This is a family event. Any family members of the current girl scout may attend.
- Financial Aid is available for members only.
- Event capacity is very limited. Registration will close when capacity is met.
- Walk-Up registrations will be accepted at this event. Priority will go to those who have pre-registered. First come first serve.

If you cannot attend a Girl Scouts of Colorado event, please cancel to allow another Girl Scout to take your spot!
