Art isn't just on museum walls-it's all around us, from colorful stickers on water bottles to sculptures in city parks. In this hands-on workshop, Girl Scouts will step into the vibrant world of art and design, discovering how everyday objects can express ideas, emotions, and creativity.
At this workshop, Girl Scouts will:
- Meet a local maker
- Experiment with color and its impact
- Explore patterns and symmetry in design
- Create original artwork inspired by their own lives and surroundings
- Share their creations and perspectives with the group
Whether it's functional, decorative, or expressive, every creation tells a story. This workshop is a celebration of imagination, personal expression, and the design hidden in plain sight.

- This is not a drop-off event. All girls must be accompanied by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult safety ratios must be followed. Please refer to Volunteer Essentials.

If you cannot attend a Girl Scouts of Colorado event, please cancel allowing another Girl Scout to take your spot! Full refunds will be given up to two weeks before the registration deadline, partial refunds (minus a $5 processing fee) will be given within two weeks of the deadline, and no refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
