Explore Ocean Science with Cody Bahlau

Get a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to live and work at sea-without leaving land! Cody Bahlau, who works aboard the research vessel Marcus G. Langseth, will share stories of ocean exploration, scientific discovery, and environmental stewardship. Girl Scouts will learn how science and adventure go hand in hand, explore careers in oceanography and STEM, and have the chance to ask questions about life on a global research expedition.
Format: 30-minute talk + Q&A

- This is not a drop-off event. All girls must be accompanied by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult safety ratios must be followed. Please refer to Volunteer Essentials.
- This is a virtual event. You will use Zoom/Teams Microsoft Office to participate.
