At the Colorado Ballet's Day of Dance, Girl Scouts will experience
three different dance genres throughout the program including Ballet,
Creative Movement, and Hip Hop. Dancers will be exposed to the
specific techniques as well as improvisation and dance concepts.
This year in the dance rotation, an Experience Tour allows Girl
Scouts to see and feel real ballet costumes and more! Items such as
leotards, pointe shoes, tutus, and tiaras will be displayed.
On-lookers are permitted to touch the items for a tactile experience
as well as ask questions. This will be followed by viewing an excerpt
of Colorado Ballet's live stream recording of Alice in
Wonderland.
An optional idea: Grab Alice in Wonderland
from to your library or preferred online book seller and read it
to/with your Girl Scout!

Participating in this program will help meet some
requirements for the following badges: Daisy Courageous and Strong
Petal Brownie Dancer Badge
After completing registration,
please complete the Colorado Ballet's waiver. This additional form
includes acknowledgement of the Colorado Ballet's terms and
conditions. Girl Scouts will not be permitted to participate if this
form is not completed.

- This is a drop-off event. We will provide enough supervision to cover safety ratios. Registrants are required to complete an Authorized Pick Up form.
