Join Girl Scouts of Colorado and Colorado Canyons Association for an overnight experience on the water!
Girl Scouts will float from Loma, CO to Westwater, UT and have a ton of fun along the way! Girl Scouts bridging to Cadettes are eligible to attend.
Get ready for a scenic float through the Ruby-Horsethief section of the Colorado River, from Loma, Colorado, to Westwater, Utah. This 25-mile stretch of mostly flat-water contains some Class I and II rapids, which offer some fun splashy waves. This section of the Colorado river runs through beautiful red rock canyons and has many day hike opportunities for you to explore. Pack for sunny weather and remember to drink your water, hydration is key in the desert.
- This is a drop-off event. We will provide enough supervision to cover safety ratios. Registrants are required to complete an Authorized Pick Up form.
- Financial Aid is available for members only.
- Event capacity is very limited. Registration will close when capacity is met.
- There are no refunds for this event.

If you cannot attend a Girl Scouts of Colorado event, please cancel to allow another Girl Scout to take your spot! Full refunds will be given up to two weeks before the registration deadline, partial refunds (minus a $5 processing fee) will be given within two weeks of the deadline, and no refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
