Join Girl Scouts of Colorado and Colorado Canyons Association for a day on the water! Girl Scouts will float from Escalante to Bridgeport and have a ton of fun along the way! Girl Scouts bridging to Juniors are eligible to attend.
When you embark on a float on the Gunnison River through the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area, you will experience breath-taking views of red-rock canyons and sandstone bluffs. Sit back, relax, and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. This class II section of river is home to many species of animals including bighorn sheep, mule deer, golden eagles, collared lizards and more. Be prepared for sunny skies and warm weather with the occasional splash from a wave.
This is a drop-off event. We will provide enough supervision to cover safety ratios. Registrants are required to complete an Authorized Pick Up form.
Financial Aid is available for members only.
Event capacity is very limited. Registration will close when capacity is met.
