Volunteer of Excellence: Recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond to deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience directly to girls OR to aid GSCO in fulfilling its mission and goals. 2 letters of endorsement required.
Every day, Girl Scout volunteers make it possible for girls across the country to enjoy and benefit from an adventure-having, skill-building, lead-taking, life-changing good time. Without our volunteers’ commitment to unleashing the G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ in every girl, we couldn’t and wouldn’t be the largest girls’ leadership organization in the world. But we are. Thanks to them. And we love them for it.
That's why in April (National Volunteer Month!), we celebrate the powerful and inspiring contributions volunteers make all year long.
Recognize an outstanding volunteer by nominating them for a Girl Scout Volunteer Recognition Award.
For more information about each award and the nomination and
endorsement process, please review the Volunteer
Recognition Award Guide.
Nominations are due on or before March 31 of each year.

Our volunteers are awesome, and girls, families, and other volunteers want to thank them for all they do! Here are some ways to show your appreciation:
