Learn life-saving skills that countless Girl Scouts have already
mastered. By participating in this 'Stop the Bleed' and First Aid
training by Denver Health, Girl Scouts will embark on an exciting
journey toward earning their First Aid Badge!
After this
engaging session, you'll be equipped to:
- Prioritize safety and know how to call for help (911)
- Use direct pressure effectively on a bleeding wound
- Identify essential items for a first aid kit
- Provide critical support for injuries until professional help arrives
- Understand how to prevent injuries in both indoor and outdoor settings
Let's empower ourselves with these essential skills and make a
difference together!
At the end of the session
participants will receive an official certificate of completion for
the Stop the Bleed Program.

- Event capacity is very limited. Registration will close when capacity is met.
- This is not a drop-off event. All girls must be accompanied by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult safety ratios must be followed. Please refer to Volunteer Essentials.

If you cannot attend
a Girl Scouts of Colorado event, please cancel to
allow another Girl Scout to take your spot! Full
refunds may be available up to two weeks before the
registration deadline, partial refunds (minus a $5
processing fee) may be available within two weeks of
the deadline, and no refunds will be given after the
registration deadline. Contact
registrars@gscolorado.org for cancellations or refund
