Girl Scouts of Colorado and United Launch Alliance (ULA) have partnered to bring Girl Scouts into the exciting world of rockets with an exclusive look inside ULA’s Denver Operations Support Center (9501 E. Panorama Circle, Centennial CO 80112). On Saturday, Oct. 26 from 12 - 4 p.m., this sold-out event will bring middle- and high school-aged Girl Scouts together to explore and learn about aerospace careers and technology.
Activities guided by ULA staff include:
“It’s so important for girls to learn about and experience these career fields that were traditionally viewed as male jobs,” says Girl Scouts of Colorado CEO Leanna Clark. “Girl Scouts teaches girls that they can chart their own course and dream big!”
This behind-the-scenes access is a rare privilege, as the public is not usually allowed into the Operations Support Center, giving Girl Scouts the chance to witness where "mission is a go" becomes a reality!
