Starry Sky Service Unit is hosting Thanksgiving Boxes event to provide donations to the Salvation Army. You have two options for donations:
1. Bring your own food and box (see list below)
2. Or we will
purchase the food and provide the box for $30/box (send money by venmo
to @Troop60709 and notify me by email at gstroop60709@gmail.com
or text 832-627-9162 by Oct 31). With this option
all you need to do is notify me by email with your Girl Scout's name
and troop number, then Venmo the money. We will have your food and box
ready to decorate at the event. We are trying this option to save you
time and make your life easier. It also allows friends or family to
donate a box.
With either option we will provide the supplies to decorate the boxes! All boxes will be collected for donation at the end of the night. We hope you will join us! Please RSVP by put in your troop number, name and the number of boxes you plan to create.
1. Turkey gift card - a $10 or $15 grocery gift card that will be
collected at check in. These do NOT go in the box.
2. Chicken
Broth (1-can) 14 oz.
3. Mashed Potatoes (1-box) 7.2 oz.
4.
Stuffing (1-box) 6 oz.
5. Turkey Gravy (3-dry packs) .87
oz.
6. Green Beans (2-cans) 14 oz.
7. Cream of Mushroom
Soup (1-can) 10 3/4 oz.
8. Onions French's (1-can) 2.8 oz.
9. Cranberry Sauce (1-can) 16 oz.
10. Pumpkin Pie mix (1-can)
15oz., please get the mix, not pumpkin in a can
11. Evaporated
Milk (1-can) 12 oz.
12. Pie Crust Jiffy Pie Crust Mix or graham
cracker crust (premade)
1 box approximately 16x10x10 (generally in that range. It does not need to be exact - just large enough to fit the food)

This is a family event. Any family members of a current girl scout member may attend.
