There's no place like the National Western Stock Show! Opening Day is
Girl Scout Day!
Special Girl Scout group discount tickets: For just $26, you receive ground admission for the day, Rodeo 101 on the arena floor, take photos with Rodeo Queens, rodeo performance, free parking in designated lots, patch, and bandana. The price offered is not available to the public but to friends and family of Girl Scouts. All orders are subject to availability, and prices are subject to change.
As part of their Girl Scout day at National Western Stock Show experience, five Girl Scouts will be selected to ride on the hitch before the rodeo with Girl Scouts of Colorado CEO Leanna Clark. This drawing is only open to youth Girl Scouts of Colorado members who have purchased tickets and are attending the Girl Scout Day at National Western event on Jan. 11. After you’ve purchased your event tickets, click here to register for a chance to ride the hitch! The form will close on Dec. 31 and winners will be selected and confirmed via email by Jan. 6.
Timeline:
7:30-8 a.m.: Meet and greet with the Rodeo Queens in
the seating bowl.
8 a.m.: Rodeo 101 gives you a
behind-the-scenes look at the sport of rodeo from the eyes of cowgirls
and cowboys. The Rodeo 101 Experience will be on the arena
floor.
9 a.m.: Explore the NWSS Grounds with your Grounds
Admission ticket. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, from Mutton
Bustin' and kids' shows to shopping and taking a leisurely stroll
through the historic yards to see the various cattle breeds. There's a
lot to see, do, experience (and smell) at the Stock Show!

FAQs:
- When purchasing tickets, you must select tickets together. The NWSS will not be adjusting them.
- If you want to purchase tickets for a large group, you should contact 303-295-3959.
- Patches will be picked up at the day of the event at a table in the event hall.
- Ticket includes RSVP to the Rodeo 101, no need to contact the NWSS for a spot.
- You can share the promo code with friends and family!
- Promo code can be used for other dates, but will not include special Girl Scout Day events.
This is not a drop-off event. All girls must be accompanied by their caregiver or attend with their troop. Adult safety ratios must be followed. Please refer to Volunteer Essentials.
This is a family event. Any family members of a current Girl Scout member may attend.
