Womens Health Badge and Good Skin workshop with Rocky Vista University!
Girl Scout Cadettes and Seniors, taking care of our skin is such an important life skill. Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, The Dermatology and Pathology Club is hosting a workshop where Girl Scouts will participate in an interactive, educational event learning all about their skin and building healthy habits! Girl Scout Seniors will earn the Women’s Health badge.

The Good skin knowledge event will consist of four, hour-long modules:
1. The Anatomy of the Skin
2. Acne Education
3. The
Science Behind Sun Protection
4. Creepy Crawlers - Bugs and
Plants that can irritate the skin
Each educational presentation will be accompanied by a discussion/Q&A and applied through a fun science/art activity. This is essential knowledge that every young girl should be exposed to!
What to bring: All supplies will be provided by the Derm/Path Club. Please pack water, snacks, and lunch. More details will be provided closer to the event.
Women's Health Badge Requirements that are covered so Girl Scouts can find out how to make the health decisions that are right for you and what kinds of support exist to guide you.

Waiver is attached in your myGS after registration.
If you cannot attend an event, please cancel so that another Girl Scout can take your spot! GSCO Event and Training refunds are given on a per registrant basis. Full refunds will be given for cancellations up to two weeks prior to the registration deadline. Partial refunds will be given for events within two weeks of the registration deadline (minus a $5 processing fee). No refunds will be given after the registration deadline. Written notice is required. Contact registrars@gscolorado.org for cancellations or refund requests. Refund requests will be processed within 5-7 business days. If Girl Scouts of Colorado cancels a program, a full refund will be issued. Caregivers can cancel their Girl Scouts even if their troop leaders registered them. Troop leaders please share this information with your Girl Scout families.
