Engineer Like a Maverick - Grand Junction
Connect with women in engineering when you join Colorado Mesa University (CMU) faculty, students, and community members in this engaging event. Engineer Like a Maverick will put your teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test and allow aspiring engineers and scientists to explore solutions to problems using CMU engineering labs and equipment. First you will learn about the iterative design process, which is a problem-solving approach in which you: define the problem, research solutions, explore new ideas, create prototypes, test, and refine your ideas. Then, engineering faculty will guide you through multiple team-based design challenges. Activities at this event will help Cadettes complete the first three parts of the Think Like an Engineer Journey.
