Cadette Woodworker Badge Workshop Grand Junction
Professional Women in Building (PWB) of Western Colorado invites Girl Scout Cadettes to JXN Station in Grand Junction to earn their Woodworker badge! Girls will learn basic woodworking skills:
- How to swing a hammer
- Keep your work level
- Use a screwdriver
- Saw some wood
- and Create something for yourself
Each Girl Scout will build a candy dispenser utilizing these skills.
All necessary supplies, equipment, and safety gear will be provided.
Lunch will be provided for Girl Scouts and adults. Need dietary restriction info from registrants.
Girl Scouts will receive their Woodworker badge at the end of the workshop.
This is not a drop-off event. All Girl Scouts must attend with a parent, guardian, or troop leader. Girl to adult ratios for events must be met.

GSCO Event and Training refunds are given on a per registrant basis. Cancellations prior to the event deadline will receive a refund (minus a $5 processing fee). Written notice is required (email is acceptable). If an event registration fee is $5.00 or less, no refund will be given. Refund requests will be processed within 5-7 business days. No refunds will be given after the registration deadline. Ticketed events cannot be refunded after the deadline. If Girl Scouts of Colorado cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
