Get outdoors, enjoy the fall weather, connect with your troop, and explore your local State Park! Girl Scouts of Colorado and Colorado Parks & Wildlife have teamed up for the annual Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend September 11 – 12.

Girl Scouts, troops and families are invited to visit select Colorado State Parks for a variety of special programs and self-guided activities. Some programs are self – guided and some are provided by our park partners. Programs vary by park but may include guided hikes, ranger programs, archery, outdoor skills, junior ranger book, nature programs and other outdoor adventures!

Many parks will also have a Girl Scout staff table with additional activities, program resources and special giveaways like a free Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch, snacks, outdoor supplies (while supplies last).

This is not an individual girl drop-off event. Girls must attend as part of a troop or with a parent or family. All programming is free, but park entrance fees of $9 per car apply. All child and adult attendees agree to have completed a COVID waiver.

Share your pictures with us on social media during the event weekend and you could win a free annual state parks pass, an $80 value! We will choose one winner from each of the participating parks. Follow us on Facebook for all the details.
