Cadette Program Aide (PA) Training

Wed Sep 01, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Girl Training

The Program Aide award gives Cadette Girl Scouts a special opportunity to serve as champions for the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. In the Cadette Program Aid Training, girls will engage in activities to learn more about themselves, connecting with others, and about how the Girl Scout Leadership Experience relates to everyday life. They’ll come out of training with an understanding of how to think of themselves as leaders – ready to act as mentors to younger girl scouts.

In the month of September, Girl Scout Cadettes can complete their Cadette Program Aide Award Training on our Google Classroom site. This training will be a blended experience where girls will attend a live introduction meeting on September 1 from 6–7 p.m., complete activities on their own through Google Classroom and then practice their Program Aide skills in a live meeting on September 23 from 6–7 p.m. Girls should have completed their LIA before attending this training. If you have questions about those requirements, please refer to this resource (LIA requirements)

After the Cadette PA Training, girls will still need to complete their Program Aide Internship on their own, which can be done in-person or virtually. More details on their internship will be provided during the training.

Zoom Meetings:

September 1 at 6 p.m. on Zoom

September 23 at 6 p.m. on Zoom

Please note: for this virtual experience girls should have a reliable internet connection to be able to share their audio and video.

All attendees must have a current Girl Scout membership.

Before the event, please complete the GSCO Internet Safety Pledge.
