Hiking and Straw Painting
Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors; come join your Girl Scout Sisters at Paint Mines Interpretive Park. We will take a hike through the unique landscape and then return to the GSCO Tables for straw painting! Girl Scouts can mix watercolor pigments to create their own watercolors then use the straws to blow the paint onto the paper. This will be reminiscent of how the Indigenous tribes of the area collected the rock pigments and mixed their own paints.
Please bring a water bottle and dress for the weather as this is an outdoor event.
This event is open to registered Girl Scout members only. No tagalongs please. This is not a drop off event. All Girl Scouts must attend with a parent, troop, leader or guardian. Adult to girl ratios for events must be met.
