Magic Sky: Climbing & Outdoor Badge Sampler
Get back to the mountains with your troop at join us for an Outdoor Badge Sampler at Magic Sky Ranch! Everyone will get to a chance to shoot archery and work on the climbing adventure badge while rock climbing on the outdoor cliffs above the lake. On top of the archery and climbing fun, everyone will earn a different badge depending on program level including: Brownie – Letterboxing, Junior – Geocaching, Cadette – Archery, Senior/ Ambassador – Outdoor Art.
About Troop Adventure Days
Join us for Troop Adventure Days! After a year of zoom and virtual connections, we know you are ready to get outside, and we can’t wait to have you up at one of our camp properties.
This is not a drop-off event. Girls will participate as part of a troop with the troop registering together, or Juliette’s can attend with a parent or guardian joining them.
Participants will be split into three groups to rotate through three different GSCO staff led program areas throughout the day. Troops will not be split up but depending on the size of the troop they may be combined with another group.
One month prior to your program you will receive an event letter with directions a packing list and more information about what to expect at camp. We will follow all state of CO and GSCO COVID – 19 guidelines for in – person activities, which will include: pre-program health screenings, face coverings, social distance activity modifications, small groups for program rotations and others. More information about this will be in the event letter.
Troops are also able to extend their stay at the property for the whole weekend by booking a cabin on their own. Troops who are interested in this should FIRST register for the troop adventure day and will then be sent a request form for a cabin reservation and will make and pay for that reservation on their own.”If there are not enough girl spaces available for you troop when you are completing registration, we may be able to accommodate additional girls depending on the size of your troop, please contact us at the email below.

Two weeks prior to program (closest Thursday): Deadline for the required minimum event attendance. If required number of minimum of participants is not met, event will be cancelled and troops will receive a full refund or be transferred to another troop adventure day.
One week prior to program (closest Thursday): Registration closes and refund and cancellation policy takes effect. Read our event cancellation policy here.
