Join us this summer for our biweekly STEM Know-Hows (formerly STEM Club) for Brownie or Junior Girl Scouts! In each of the four summer sessions, Girl Scouts will complete a fun STEM-related activity using low-cost, easily accessible materials.
Families will receive an email with a supply list and login information before each session.
Brownie/Junior STEM Club will take place on the following dates:
- June 17: Float your boat. Learn about density and how boats float. Then build your own boat and see how much it can hold before it sinks!
- July 1: Senses. Learn Bout the sense of taste and the amazing tongue!
- July 15: Water Pollution: Learn about the scientific method and water pollution with an experiment that dives deep into the impacts this issue has on our world!
- July 29: Career Exploration. Explore what you’re interested in and what you care about. Then create a plan for how you’ll change the world!
