Calling all Girl Scouts who crave expressing themselves through the written word!

In this biweekly Creative Writing Club, Juniors and Cadettes will have the opportunity to improve her creativity and writing skills. Girls will meet about twice a month and will work on their writing for the weeks they do not meet.

Girls will be given a monthly prompt, work on their writing skills, and learn how to give and receive constructive feedback.

Families will receive an email with the writing prompt at the beginning of each month. They will also receive an email with login information before each session. 

Creative Writing Club will take place at 4:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • January 21: Hibernating Animals: how to make information sound fun
  • February 4: Superheroes Who Are Women: what are their powers and what do they do with them
  • February 18: Superheroes Who Are Women: what are their powers and what do they do with them
  • March 4: Birthday Party Spectacular (with time travelling Juliette Gordon Low)
  • March 18: Birthday Party Spectacular (with time travelling Juliette Gordon Low)
  • April 1: No Meeting This Week
  • April 15: Alien Invasion: If aliens invaded earth today, what would they do, what problems would they solve and how?
  • April 29: Alien Invasion: If aliens invaded earth today, what would they do, what problems would they solve and how?
  • May 13: Who is your personal hero and what have you learned from them?
  • May 27: Who is your personal hero and what have you learned from them?
