World Thinking Day
Location: Adams County Fairgrounds

Brighton, CO 80601
As a Girl Scout, you are part of a special network of girls that stretches across the world. Each year, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from over 140 countries celebrate World Thinking Day (WTD), that's one BIG celebration! The World Thinking Day theme of 2021 is "peacebuilding". Peacebuilding is at the heart of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting and is as vital and relevant today as for the last 100 years.
At the World Thinking Day event, each registered troop will host a booth with a presentation about the country to share with other troops. Troops can also share food (individually wrapped to take home), SWAPS, and art from their chosen region. Troops are also asked to make a flag of their country for our Parade of Flags. The flag can be as simple as a poster board or as fancy as you wish. Troops will split up, with half manning their own booth, while the others take a trip around the world. At the mid-point, troops will have a break for the "parade of flags". Then the girls will switch so that everyone has the chance to visit all booths. All registered girls will get a "passport" to be stamped at each country they visit.
