Credit Cards

In 2013, Girl Scouts of Colorado will be working with PayAnywhere to allow troops and Individual Girl Scouts to accept credit card payments for cookies using a smartphone or tablet, a free app and a device that conveniently plugs into the smartphone's audio jack. Check the Compatibility List to see if your device will work with the PayAnywhere reader.

Girls may accept credit card payment throughout the entire cookie sale, including both door-to-door sales and booth sales.

Troops are responsible for the fees incurred by their mobile service provider and by PayAnywhere.

PayAnywhere is the only mobile credit card processing vendor approved by Girl Scouts of Colorado. Troops and Individual Girl Scouts must use PayAnywhere to process credit card transactions for cookies. Use of any other vendor or not signing up through Girl Scouts of Colorado may result in a personal liability to pay income taxes on the cookie transactions processed.
