Accountability

The SUFSM is appointed by the Regional Manager of Product Sales, and is accountable to the Area Fall Sale Manager (AFSM) and the Regional Manager of Product Sales.

Position Summary

1. Must be a registered member of GSUSA.
2. Must have an approved GSCO Volunteer Application on file, including background check and references.
3. Must be at least 18 years old.
4. Accept the principals and beliefs of Girl Scouting, and support local and national Girl Scout policies, practices and procedures.
5. Serve as a positive example for girls by modeling positive attributes such as reliability, respect for others, inclusiveness, and a positive attitude.
6. Administer the Fall Product Sale for the service unit, train the Troop Fall Sale Managers (TFSM) in the service unit, provide support to TFSMs as needed, keep accurate records in NutE, and distribute recognition items to the troops.
Position Summary

Responsibilities and Tasks

1. Attend the required training conducted by the AFSM and/or council staff.
2. Train theTFSMs about all aspects of the Fall Sale.
3. Set up troops in Ashdon Farms NutE website, assist troops with entering orders as necessary, and verify and submit troop orders and banking information by deadline date.
4. Supervise at delivery site, recording information accurately and completely, and obtaining signatures as necessary.
5. Provide a safe and secure storage area for nuts and candy.
6. Keep accurate count of all nuts and candy.
7. Distribute the nut and candy items to the troops, securing proper signatures and keeping accurate records of the distribution.
8. Receive all sale reports from troops and check for accuracy.
8. Receive the recognitions for the service unit and distribute to the troops as quickly as possible.
9. Submit summary report and a service unit evaluation to the AFSM or Regional Manager of Product Sales.
10. Work with the AFSM.

1. Use discretion in all confidential matters, including girl information.
2. Follow GSUSA and GSCO policies and procedures to ensure the safety of girl members.
