This initiative offers programs that give girls a personal foundation of healthy living, assertive self-expression, conflict-management and critical-thinking skills for success in leadership and in life. Programs encourage positive attitudes and behaviors that lead to healthy lifestyles. Girls are encouraged to participate in sports and fitness activities and learn about nutrition. Girl Scout programs help girls make responsible decisions about their bodies that will benefit them for a lifetime.
