Location: 46 miles northwest of Fort Collins near Red Feather Lakes
Availability: Magic Sky Lodge and tent areas - year-round. Seasonal shelters – late spring & early fall. Cabins year-round, except for summer resident camp season.
Size of Property: 750 acres
Activities: Extensive hiking trails, activity center, conservation and service projects. High and low ropes courses (in good weather), indoor climbing wall, indoor archery in winter and outdoor archery in spring and fall, all at an additional cost per person.
Magic Sky Lodge – Maximum capacity of 40. Magic Sky Lodge has mattresses on the floor and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, etc. for 40. (No food service available while staying at the Lodge.) Indoor and outdoor fireplaces, indoor plumbing facilities with a shower and a tub.
Three (3) tent sites – Sites vary in capacity from 20 to 40, for a total capacity of 90. Tent areas have two or three fire pits per area, two picnic tables, basic cooking equipment and latrines are available. Emergency shelters are in Areas II and III. Six 6-person tents can be reserved with the Site Manager. Outdoor latrines. Cooking equipment and stoves available for tent areas.
Year-round food service and Program Director for the following sites. Everyone staying in the cabins and seasonal shelters are required to participate in the year-round food service program.
Six (6) cabins (Super Nova, Little Thunder, Shooting Star, Big Dipper, Northern Lights and Milky Way) 24 capacity for each cabin. All have bunk beds with mattresses, efficiency kitchens, a living room and indoor plumbing facilities with showers.
Two (2) seasonal units (Pegasus and Cassiopeia) – Each unit consists of two buildings that sleep 14 each (not winterized), for a total of 28 in each unit and an activity shelter. Detached shower house with modern indoor plumbing facilities and showers (May, August-September weather permitting). Seasonal units have bunk beds with mattresses and electricity.
