Terms and Conditions

RESERVATIONS: Reservations must be made, and a full payment received no later than 30 days prior to the guest’s arrival date. If a final payment is not received by this time, the reservation will be cancelled.
Groups will not be allowed to reserve more than one Property for the same dates.
Please note that Girl Scouts of Colorado may update their fees without notice. Once a Property has been secured with a deposit, the price will not be subject to any fee updates.

LATE FEE: Any changes to Lodging, Food Service, or Activities that take place within 30 days of a guest’s arrival date will be subject to a $25 late fee. This includes both additions and deletions.

REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS: If a reservation is cancelled before 30 days prior to a guest’s arrival date, they will forfeit their deposit, but will be refunded all other fees. Deposits may be transferred to a new reservation, if the guest requests the transfer before 30 days prior to their arrival date.
After 30 days prior to a guest’s arrival date, full refunds will only be granted if the reservation was cancelled by Girl Scouts of Colorado, or in the event of adverse weather conditions that prohibit safe travel. If a guest must cancel their trip due to weather conditions, they must contact the Site Manager of the Property or a Girl Scouts of Colorado Council Office no later than the day before their planned arrival. The contact information for each Property can be found in the Site User Manual.

Magic Sky Ranch

 

 

Our newest and most modern property, Magic Sky Ranch is a large facility located 46 miles northwest of Fort Collins near the beautiful Red Feather Lakes. A great choice for getaway events from corporate retreats to weddings or reunions, featuring a dining/meeting hall, cabins, a rustic lodge, seasonal lodges and tent sites.

 

Open:

  • The Cabins, seasonal units, and tent sites are available May 15th - September 15th (closed for summer resident camp May - August)
  • The Magic Sky Lodge (Old Lodge) is available year-round

 

Food Service:

Food service is required of those staying in the cabins and seasonal units. Food service is not available for those staying in the Old Lodge or Magic Sky Tents. Meal times are somewhat flexible, but only one meal time will be observed.

Food pricing is as follows:

2 Nights: $35 per person. Includes: 

  • Friday Dinner - 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday Breakfast - 8:30 a.m.
  • Saturday Lunch - 12:30 p.m.
  • Saturday Snack - Pick up at 2:00 p.m.
  • Saturday Dinner - 5:30 p.m.
  • Sunday Brunch - 9:30 a.m.
  • Sunday Snack - 7:30 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. (can take snack for the road)

1 Night: $21 per person. Includes:

  • Friday Dinner - 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday Breakfast - 8:30 a.m.
  • Saturday Lunch - 12:30 p.m.
  • Saturday Snack - Pick up at 2:00 p.m.

 

Adventures at Magic Sky Ranch:

*Staff led activities are subject to staff availability.

 

Facilities:

  • Magic Sky Lodge (Old Lodge) – Maximum capacity of 40. Magic Sky Lodge has mattresses on the floor and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, etc. for 40. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces, indoor plumbing facilities with a shower and a tub. Food service and activities are not available while staying at the Lodge. Open year-round.
  • Tent Sites (3) – Sites vary in capacity from 20 to 40, for a total capacity of 90. Tent areas have two or three fire pits per area, two picnic tables, basic cooking equipment and latrines are available. Emergency shelters are in Areas II and III. Six 6-person tents can be reserved with the Site Manager. Outdoor latrines. Cooking equipment and stoves available for tent areas. Food service and activities are not available while staying at a tent site. Open May 15th-Sept 15th.
  • Cabins (6) (Super Nova, Little Thunder, Shooting Star, Big Dipper, Northern Lights and Milky Way): Capacity is 24 for each cabin. All have bunk beds with mattresses, efficiency kitchens, a living room and indoor plumbing facilities with showers. Open May 15th-Sept 15th.
  • Seasonal units (2) (Pegasus and Cassiopeia) – Each unit consists of two buildings that sleep 14 each (not winterized), for a total of 28 in each unit and an activity shelter. Detached shower house with modern indoor plumbing facilities and showers (May, August-September weather permitting). Seasonal units have bunk beds with mattresses and electricity. Open May 15th-Sept 15th.
  • Activity Center: Large indoor center the holds up to 240 people, for day use only. Open May 15th-Sept 15th.
